Sanbornton Police Relief Association The S.P.R.A. is a non-profit organization which is a community oriented group consisting of Police Department members. The S.P.R.A. provides funding for DARE, a scholarship program for a High School senior seeking a career in Law Enforcement, financial support for all worthy causes, as well as providing assistance for distraught members of the Association and Sanbornton Residents who have undergone hardships. Donations are accepted by way of personal check to the S.P.R.A. and should be marked "For Deposit Only". The current President of the Association is Officer Stephen Hankard. Elderly Call Program The Sanbornton Police Department currently has a program where persons living alone can be called and checked by department members on a daily basis. Please contact this agency for additional information Child Find We have a Child Find Program and strongly suggest that all parents of minor children contact us so that we may make arrangements to enroll them with the Police Department as Child Find kids. This process involves photographs, fingerprinting and the completion of booklets which are given to the families for safe keeping. Neighborhood Watch The Department is interested in starting a neighborhood watch program and requests that all interested Residents contact the Police Department so that we may get the ball rolling as soon as possible. Calling in Crimes & Requests for Service Persons in need of Police assistance should call the Police Department at 286-4323 or by dialing 911 in a dire emergency.
