Construction in progress on Route 127 and Exit 22 area

Road work continues on Route 127 also known as New Hampton Road near the Perley Hill Road area as well as the on and off ramp for Exit 22, interstate 93. Use caution while driving by these work zones.

RSA 265:6-a Highway Construction and Maintenance. –
 I. The driver of a vehicle shall yield the right-of-way to any authorized vehicle or pedestrian actually engaged in work upon the highway within any construction or maintenance area indicated by official traffic control devices.

Howe Promoted

 

 

 

 

April 28th surrounded by friends, family and co-workers Patrolman how was promoted to Sergeant. Howe takes Kevin McIntosh's position as sergeant after he was appointed to Lieutenant. 

 


 

New Officer sworn in

 

 

 

Erik Benoit (shown on the left) was sworn Wednesday March 3 adding to the force for Sanbornton. Officer Benoit who has worked for the Laconia Police Department for four years as a dispatcher joins the department as a Patrolman. Chief Hankard shown on the right, read Officer Benoit the oath of office completing the process.  


 

Patrol staff given letters of commendation for work on burglaries.

At the selectman's meeting the Patrol staff of the Sanbornton Police Department along with LT. McIntosh were given letters of commendation. Chief Hankard along with the selectmen presented the officers the letters after an investigation into the January burglaries lead to multiple arrests.
